Elliot Ivarra è il nuovo European King of the Groms

Oggi ad Ericeira, Portogallo, il surfer francese Elliot Ivarra ha vinto la finale europea del Quiksilver King of the Groms.

Il sedicenne francese si è guadagnato un posto nella finale europea grazie alla vittoria nei trials di ieri che gli ha permesso di partecipare al main event. In gara oggi si sono visti i migliori europei della categoria 16 and under ma Elliot si è dimostrato decisamente superiore anche se il francesino Nommé Mignot gli ha dato filo da torcere fino agli ultimi secondi della heat finale.

Entrambi voleranno in Francia per partecipare alla finale internazionale del Quiksilver King of the Groms che si terrà durante il Quiksilver Pro France, un evento ASP World Tour (dal 27 settembre all’8 ottobre) che vedrà protagonisti i migliori surfers del mondo. Un’esperienza straordinaria per questi due promettenti groms.
