KOTG Round 1 Highlights

Mentre oggi a Le Penon ci si prepara ad affrontare il terzo giorno di lay day, dopo l’uscita di Leonardo Fioravanti dal Quik Pro diamo un’occhiata alla situazione del King of the Groms, dove Leonardo è ancora in gara.

Lo scorso venerdì pomeriggio si è svolto il primo round del King of the Groms, che quest’anno è caratterizzato da un formato innovativo studiato in modo da consentire a tutti i rider in gara di disputare almeno 3 round. In base alle tre migliori onde surfate in ciascun round si determinerà la classifica per stabilire i tre surfisti che disputeranno poi la Big Final.

Leonardo Fioravanti, impegnato al primo round, è riuscito a prendere soltanto due onde delle tre a disposizione per il conteggio dello score, e si trova ora ancora in 16esima posizione nel ranking provvisorio. Mancano ancora due round però e quindi Leo ha ancora diverse possibilità a disposizione per risalire il ranking e accedere alla Big Final.
