Rip Curl Pro Portugal Round 1

Il Rip Curl Pro è partito a Supertubos con il completamento del primo round.

Condizioni d’onda non classiche ieri a Supertubos per l’inizio del Rip Curl Pro Portugal, con onde di 3-5 piedi ventose e difficili da interpretare, che hanno però consentito qualche trick aereo e tubo profondo e il completamento del primo round, senza grosse sorprese a parte Mick Fanning e John John che sono andati al secondo round.

Sono ancora sette i surfisti rimasti in corsa per il titolo, ma soltanto Medina ha la possibilità di conquistare il titolo in Portogallo e ha aperto la sua campagna in Portogallo con una solida vittoria nel primo round su Kai Otton e Jacob Wilcox.
