Ripartiti il Quiksilver e Roxy Pro a Snapper Rocks

Dopo sei giorni di stop sono ripartiti il Quiksilver Pro e il Roxy Pro a Snapper Rocks.

Il secondo round del Roxy Pro è ripartito due giorni fa ed è stato dominato dalla ripresa di Stephanie Gilmore, che dopo essere stata eliminata al primo round, ha riguadagnato il suo posto nel contest, dapprima vincendo la heat del secondo round, e poi riprendendosi al terzo round la rivincita su Tyler Wright, che l’aveva eliminata al primo.

Stephanie Gilmore ha dimostrato di aver recuperato la forma dopo l’incidente ed è pronto a iniziare la sua campagna al titolo.

Il secondo round del Quiksilver Pro è ripartito ieri invece in condizioni non classiche a Snapper Rock, con vento e corrente che hanno messo a dura prova gli atleti ed è iniziato subito con uno shock, ovvero l’eliminazione di Bede Durbidge dal secondo round e dal contest per mano della wild card Matt Banting.

Banting incontrerà ora al terzo round il 10 volte campione del mondo Kelly Slater.

Stephanie Gilmore ha ritrovato la forma e un posto nel quarto round

Pat Gudauskas ha subito l’eliminazione da parte del connazionale Brett Simpson
