Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast avanza al Round 3

Il Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast è ripartito ieri con il completamento delle heat del Round 2 e delle prime sei heat del Round 3.

Tra gli highlights del giorno, l’eliminazione di Dane Reynolds da parte di Joel Parkinson, al termine di una heat infuocata e che ha infuocato il pubblico in spiaggia, dove entrambi gli avversari hanno ottenuto punteggi altissimi, ma alla fine è stato Parkinson con un’onda da 9.87 ad avere la meglio e chiudere la partita.

Taj Burrow per un attimo se l’è vista brutta con il Rookie del Tour Filipe Toledo, ma poi ha recuperato, mentre Owen Wright non è stato fortunato ed è stato eliminato al secondo round da Dusty Payne, che nel terzo round se la vedrà con Kelly.

Ultimo highlights l’uscita dal contest di John John Florence, che dopo l’ impressionante Round 1 dei giorni scorsi ha dovuto abbandonare la gara a causa di un infortunio alla caviglia subito durante l’expression session di sabato.
